San Giovanni di Sinis

San Giovanni beach is located within the hamlet of the same name,
once a fishing village.
Its beach stretches between the Phoenician-Punic colony of Tharros
and Capo San Marco; behind it lies the Gulf of Oristano.
Dominating the breathtaking panorama is the 15th-century Spanish
tower erected by Philip II and dedicated to St. John.
Its crystal-clear waters and seabed rich in marine flora are a coveted
paradise for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts.
In days with the Mistral wind, the sea is suitable for practicing wave
surfing.
