A notable point is the Parco dei Suoni (Park of<br \/>Sounds), located in the disused sandstone quarries at Su Cuccuru<br \/>Mannu in the Sinis Peninsula. This unique space, created in 2008 by<br \/>architects Pierpaolo Perra and Alberto Antioco Loche, won the<br \/>Landscape Award from the Autonomous Region of Sardinia. The<br \/>park unfolds through paths that traverse the quarries, creating<br \/>evocative environments with &#8220;sound sculptures&#8221; inspired by the<br \/>works of Pinuccio Sciola. During July and August, the park hosts<br \/>jazz, pop, and rock concerts as part of the Grandi Eventi circuit,<br \/>making it one of the most suggestive and unusual spaces on the<br \/>island.
